Peter Charney is a director and storymaker who has presented work at companies such as The Drama League, NYMF, New York Public Library, Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, and Musical Theatre Factory. He recently directed a reimagined Spring Awakening with a cast of actor-musicians at Irondale Center in Brooklyn. He is the director and composer of Bright and Brave: a new musical, which has received multiple workshops and a fall 2019 production through a residency at Dixon Place. He is an alum of the 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, the Yale Directing Intensive, and is a proud associate member of SDC.
