This week we're performing two plays by one playwright.
The eagle charged with eating Prometheus’s liver each day is growing weary of the routine. But when Heracles shows up to free the titan, the two unlikely friends are forced to decide whether to take a risk on a new life or stick with what they know.
Markus is anxious. Preston is predictable. But when one of them makes a spontaneous move with permanent consequences, they're both forced to grapple with the future of their relationship.
Playwright - John Bavoso
.John Bavoso (he/him/his) is a Washington, DC-based playwright, book and theatre reviewer, marketer, and aspiring wrangler of unicorns. He mostly writes plays about women and queer people who are awkwardly attempting (and generally failing) to engage with serious subject matter using only dry wit and impeccably timed combative taunts. John is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, a Pinky Swear Productions company member, a 2019 Lambda Literary Fellow, and the recipient of District of Columbia FY18 and FY19 Arts and Humanities Fellowships. His plays have been produced and/or developed in DC, Virginia, New York, Colorado, Texas, California, Florida, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Washington, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, and Arizona; Toronto, Canada; Sasebo, Japan; Dubai, UAE; and Gold Coast and Sydney, Australia.
In his interview, John talks about his "Body of Work", the tattoos he gets when a show opens. Here are those tattoos!

Liz Wasser (Eagle) - Liz Wasser is so psyched to be invited back to hang with the At the Table gang. Liz has written and performed her three solo shows "Fate, Fury and Musical Theatre", "Saturday Morning Special...FUN!" and "I Have Confidence!" here in the city and up at the tippy-top of New York. Her web series, "Let's See Hamilton!" is on YouTube but she never edited part two of the finale. She also has theatre credits! Liz writes jokes about theatre and other things on twitter (@thelizwasser).
Nick Lehan (Prometheus / Markus) - Actor-Singer Nick Lehan has performed all over the country, but proudly calls New York City his home. A two time Helen Hayes Award Nominee, Nick won a Helen Hayes playing Harold Bride in Signature Theatre's production of of TITANIC. Nick is a third generational performer. He spent his childhood backstage watching his parents sing and dance on almost every stage in Washington, D.C. and is proud to say he cut his teeth in such a rich artistic community. He graduated from The Catholic University of America and received a Bachelor of Arts where he learned how to write in the third person effectively.
Vishal Vaidya (Heracles / Preston) - Vishal Vaidya is a performer and vocal coach living in Washington Heights, NYC. He made his Broadway debut as Larry the camerman in Groundhog Day. Other credits include City Center (Love Life, Road Show, 1776), Prospect Theater (Einstein's Dreams), Arena Stage (DAVE), The Kennedy Center (How to Succeed) and lots of shows in development.
