Playwright - Durra Leung
Durra Leung (Chinese: 柯杜華) is an award-winning composer-lyricist and playwright born and raised in Guangzhou, China, who now calls NYC home. He has recently joined the New York City Center Encores! production of Thoroughly Modern Millie as the Cantonese lyricist. Durra has presented his works at venues including Feinstein’s/54 Below, Joe’s Pub, The Duplex, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Wild Project, The PIT, The West End Lounge, Dixon Place, and many others. One of his recent film-scoring works Your Smile (dir. Haochen Yang) has been accepted in multiple international film festivals, including Cannes Film Festival. He is the founder and emcee for the concert series Tin Pan Alley 2, and completed the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program (Cycle 29) at NYU.
Austin Ku (Benny) - Austin is an award-winning NYC actor who recently appeared in the star-studded Sondheim 90th Birthday virtual concert Take Me to the World. Off-Broadway: Soft Power (Public Theater), Pacific Overtures and Iphigenia in Aulis (Classic Stage Company). Tours: Soft Power, Chinglish. Regional: Berkeley Rep, Center Theatre Group, Kansas City Starlight, S.F. Shakespeare, Shakespeare NJ, South Coast Rep, The Muny, Walnut Street, and more. Awards include StageSceneLA, Dean Goodman, and WISE Awards, plus nominations for Barrymore, BroadwayWorld, and IRNE Awards. Todd Buonopane (Matthew) - Matthew has appeared on Broadway as Jean-Michel in Cinderella, Roger in Grease, Amos in Chicago and many characters in ...Spelling Bee. He has toured the U.S. with The Play That Goes Wrong, Godspell and Chicago (which he has also done in Dubai, Seoul and Tokyo). Off-Broadway credits include The Butter & Egg Man, Henry & Mudge, and The New Yorkers at City Center Encores! Regionally, he has performed at the Alliance, The Old Globe, Asolo Rep, MUNY, Signature, Pasadena Playhouse, 5th Avenue, Ordway, Papermill Playhouse, Goodspeed, Maine State and Barrington. TV credits include roles on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Braindead, Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order: CI, and 30 Rock (as Weinerslav). Todd is a Councilor for Actors’ Equity Association and a proud graduate of The University of Michigan. He is the creator and star of a quarantine project called Bathtub Theatre.
